The magnificent vessel, built in steel and aluminum at the Lürssen shipyard and designed by the famous Espen Oeino, has been repainted in gray. It is said that the second owner of the Queen K asked the German shipbuilder to refurbish the interior and increase the sun deck area. The interior of the vessel was done by Donald Starkey in oriental style.
