With over 120 sailing vessels ranging from 10 to 26 meters in length, the festival was a feast for yacht enthusiasts and industry professionals alike.

Monohulls and Multihulls Galore

The majority of vessels at CYF2023 were monohulls, accounting for 70 out of the fleet. However, multihulls also made a strong presence, showcasing their versatility and performance capabilities. The heart of the sailing fleet was concentrated in Port Canto, where visitors could explore these magnificent vessels up close.

Noteworthy Yachts and Boats

Here are some of the most intriguing pieces that caught attention and turned heads at the show:

 1. Nyumba: The 29.24-meter Nyumba is a milestone for Southern Wind, marking their first hybrid sailing yacht. Commissioned by an experienced yachtsman with globetrotting aspirations, Nyumba completed a remarkable 7,500-mile maiden voyage from Cape Town to the Mediterranean. Its advanced energy storage system allows for zero-emission cruising, extended range under power, and serene nights in hotel mode.

 2. HH44: This 13.5-meter catamaran is a game changer for Hudson Yacht Group. Known for performance, the HH44 impressed the media with its sleek design and high level of comfort.

 3. Grand Soleil 72LC and Grand Soleil 65LC: Designed by Milanese Nauta Design for the Italian brand Cantieri del Prado, these new models are stunning. The 21.6-meter 72LC features a deckhouse with a large 270° window, while the 20.10-meter 65LC combines elegance, a performance-optimized hull, and high sustainability with recycled teak and solar panels.

 4. Windelo 50: Windelo’s 15.24-meter cruising catamaran stood out for its spacious layout, which transforms inside areas into comfortable terraces, and its eco-friendly design. Interestingly, the brand is looking to grow its presence in the American market.

 5. Garcia Exploration 60: Designed for adventurous souls, the 18.29-meter aluminum center-boarder promises long-distance cruising capabilities and rugged durability, perfect for extreme sailing conditions.

 6. CNB78: Created by renowned designer Philippe Briand, the 23.75-meter CNB78 is the company’s new flagship. This luxurious yacht features impressive interiors and a sleek profile, embodying CNB’s yachting traditions since 1985.

 7. Oceanis 37.1: The 11.40-meter Oceanis 37.1, a well-renewed version of the bestselling Beneteau Oceanis 38.1, boasts enhanced performance, brighter looks, and increased volume.

 8. Hanse 410: The new 12.35-meter Hanse 410 offers unrivaled volume in the 40-foot class and an exceptionally large cockpit. With 18 layout variants, it combines style, speed, and comfort.

 9. Gunboat 72V: This high-performance 21.95-meter catamaran by Gunboat, with contributions from VPLP and other renowned designers, showcased its prowess on the water, perfect for both relaxed sailing and regattas.

 10. Fountaine Pajot Thira 80: This 24.38-meter sailing catamaran, labeled as the “jewel of the seas” by the shipyard, boasts innovative features and reinforces Fountaine Pajot’s standing in the industry.

From any angle and perspective, the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023 provided a captivating showcase of top-tier sailing vessels. With 120 yachts and boats on display, there was something for every taste—whether clients sought adventure, memorable moments, or the thrill of pushing boundaries.
