Saxdor Yachts announces that the construction of their latest creation, the Saxdor 400 GTO, is progressing seamlessly and adhering to the planned timeline. The company will unveil the vessel at the forthcoming Cannes Yachting Festival.

The Saxdor 400 GTO embodies the pinnacle of Saxdor Yachts’ unwavering pursuit to craft vessels that blend elegance, functionality, and value. Following the grand introduction of the Saxdor 400 GTO, the shipyard will initiate production of the Saxdor 400 GTC. Notably, both models boast avant-garde terraces that stretch halfway across the boat's length. These terraces serve as a defining feature, creating an extraordinarily unique ambience, complete with balconies that amplify the deck space and establish an intimate connection with the water.

Saxdor's remarkable features

The Saxdor 400 GTO marks a significant stride for Saxdor Yachts, a company that has already carved a niche in the sports boat market with its earlier models - the 200 and 320. With its dual outboard engines, twin-stepped hull, capacious living quarters, and a wheelhouse that spans the entire beam, the Saxdor 400 GTO might dominate the 40-45 ft segment.

Saxdor Founder and Chief Designer, Sakari Mattila asserts that the Saxdor 400 GTO is a testament to our unbridled passion and dedication, and the team is thrilled to present it at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival.

First, the deck space

The connection to the sea of Saxdor 400 GTO is accentuated by the novel glass transom, affording panoramic vistas over the stern right from the comfort of the modular cockpit seating, which can be configured in various arrangements, accommodating up to 8 passengers. Moreover, Saxdor's creators believe no other vessel in its class can boast such an intimate relationship with its surroundings.

Then the lower deck amenities

Accommodation of Saxdor 400 GTO might be one of the most spacious in the 40ft category. The space includes a generous forward double cabin and a separate bathroom boasting a headroom of 1.83 m. This configuration on the lower deck presents the choice of a children’s cabin, as well as a midship double cabin that could ensure comfortable sleeping quarters for up to four adults.

Also the innovative wheelhouse

Mirroring the 320 Cabin model of Saxdor, the 400 GTO has a full beam wheelhouse that optimises the living space. Noteworthy is the unique feature - both sides open up entirely, enabling direct entry to the side terraces from within the wheelhouse. This ingenious design, exclusive to the 400 model, maximises the balconies’ functionality once deployed.

And finally, the outboard engines

The Saxdor 400 GTO offers the choice between twin 300hp Mercury V8 outboard engines or potent 400hp V10s, delivering a performance tailored to individual preferences.

Saxdor, established by the visionary Finnish designer and engineer Sakari Mattila, shares its roots with renowned brands like Axopar, XO Boats, Aquador, and Paragon. Considering its lineage, Saxdor emerges as a promising yachting icon in Europe. The debut of their latest creation, the Saxdor 400 GTO, resonates well with the evolving landscape of compact motor boats, assuring an unparalleled on-water escapade for enthusiasts.
