Passage of vessels on some Russian rivers may become tolled, TACC reports. According to the news agency, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich has instructed relevant agencies to draft a project on the introduction of payment for passage of vessels on inland waterways.
Data from unnamed sources were confirmed by the office of Dvorkovich and the Ministry of Transport. At the same time, more detailed comments on the new bill were not given. Thus, it is not clear which rivers will be made paid, which vessels will be charged and to what extent. The terms of the initiative implementation are also unclear.
