Benetti has launched the 90-metre Lionheart. This is the largest yacht ever built by an Italian shipyard. Previously this title belonged to 86-meter Kingdom 5KR from 1980.
The customer already owns a 2006-built 63-meter Benetti. Lionheart's predecessor originally went by the same name but was renamed Lioness V.
Not much is known about Lionheart yet. The exterior styling was designed by Stefano Nat ucci in collaboration with Benetti's design team. Green & Mingarelli Design developed the interiors.
Lionheart is a displacement vessel with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. She has a sporty appearance with a distinctive wavy superstructure that connects her four decks. Lionheart has a cruising speed of 15 knots and a maximum speed of 15.5 knots.
