The PROyachting project celebrated the birthday of the popular Wednesday Night Race series on Wednesday, July 13. The event took place at the Royal Yacht Club Water Stadium.
The first of the Wednesday Night Race series was held in 2013, very quickly the new Wednesday Night Race format attracted a wide range of yachting enthusiasts.
The event, which was visited by more than 100 guests, included various coastal programs, radio-controlled yacht launches, a buffet and a wine tasting by the event partner Palais Royal.
More than 50 people in 10 crews took part in the celebratory Wednesday Night Race. The winners and prize-winners of the regatta were determined based on the results of two races:
1st place - team «Gagarin» (Burgart Andrey, Fedotov Andrey, Savlaev Tamerlan, Ushkov Valery, Taranov Maxim);
2nd place - Alex Team(Tenishev Irek, Erokhina Irina, Nikiforov Evgeny, Bragin Igor);
3-rd place - team Ulysse Nardin 2(Rumanova Natalia, Serik Oleg, Nikitin Yury, Nikitina Zoya, Dmitriev Andrey, Grishunin Alexander).
It must be recalled that the winners of the regatta series launched in May will be awarded with Marine Diver watches by the legendary Swiss watch manufacturer Ulysse Nardin. The grand prize award ceremony of the season will be held in November at the annual award «PROyachting. Man of the Year».
