A Canadian resident died in hospital from her injuries after a whale crashed into a tourist boat. Two other people were injured. Incident occurred in the waters of Mexico. The exact cause of the accident is still being investigated, reports BBC.
At the moment the versions are contradictory. According to the rescuers, the mammal dove out of the water to inhale and landed directly on the boat, resulting in some passengers falling into the water. At the same time, according to the tour company that organized the trip, the deceased was injured earlier: when the captain of the ship sharply changed course to avoid a collision, which, however, could not be avoided.
The fate of the whale was not reported.
