Twelve 40ft monohulls competed in Sydney for the world title. Despite the abundance of Australian competitors, the title went to American Plenty, led by Alex Roepers, who already won the Rolex Farr 40 Worlds in 2014. See Andrea Francolini's photo essay from the event.
