Superyacht Senses, owned by Google co-founder Larry Page, has arrived in Auckland for refit work. The 59m yacht was already undergoing a full-scale refit in that city last summer. Now she's back for more work, which will involve about 20 local companies, writes NZherald.co.nz.
It is an expedition yacht with interiors by Philippe Starck. She can accommodate 12 guests aboard. The gymnasium can be converted into an additional double cabin with a private bath.
Senses is equipped with an arsenal of water toys, including four jet skis, six full scuba diving kits, diving compressor, water skis, scuba diving gear, and three kayaks. There are four tenders on board: a 12-metre Nelson, a 7-metre semi-rigid inflatable boat, a classic 8-metre L Francis Herreshoff sloop, a 5-metre Hobie Cat catamaran and a 7-metre Grady fishing boat.
