During New Year holidays from 5th to 7th of January there will be 3rd stage of regatta series Sochi Winter Cup 2017-2018 on GP 26 monohulls. The competition, organized by PROyachting project, will be hosted by the Imeretinsky yacht port in Sochi.
The event, held since 2015, attracts not only experienced athletes who strive to be fit all year round, but also those who are still just mastering sailing. In addition to the competitions themselves, yachtsmen will enjoy joint dinners, seminars and sailing master classes.
During the first two seasons more than 200 participants from Moscow, St.Petersburg, Krasnodar, Sochi, Omsk, Chelyabinsk and other cities visited the winter series of races. This year the number of local teams has noticeably increased.
By tradition, a total of six stages will be held, with competition rules permitting to join the fleet at any of them.
