The first hull of Mangusta Oceano 50 by Italian Overmarine Group presented this spring has been sold to a European owner. Delivery is scheduled for 2021.

«Our reputation now allows us to sell even when the yacht is still under construction. This year we've had two owners, first Mangusta GranSport 33 and now Mangusta Oceano 50»," says Francesco Frediani, Commercial Director of Mangusta.

The 50-metre displacement yacht in the Mangusta Oceano range was designed by Alberto Mancini and the group's engineering department. The aim was to design a boat which would be truly innovative and original for this particular market segment.

What makes this model particularly interesting is its layout.

One of the main challenges was to find a balance between the volume of interior and exterior space, while staying within 500 gross tons. There is more than enough space for outdoor recreation on board. For example, in the aft area there is a somewhat«recessed» forward of the foredeck and therefore a private lounge area with teak sofas spaced around the perimeter of the boat's square.

Tenders and jet skis are stored in the bow, so the beach club is really spacious. And the garage itself is not simple: you fill the room freed from water toys with water and get... large swimming pool. There's also a Jacuzzi, but on the sundeck, next to the dining area for 12 people, protected from above by a hardtop. There are five staterooms by default but a sixth will be added on request.

Mangusta Oceano 50 is powered by twin MTU 12V 2000 M86 engines, giving her a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots. She has a cruising range of 4,000 nautical miles.
