The Transat Jacques Vabre ocean race has started in Le Havre, France. It is one of the most prestigious sailing marathons across the Atlantic, held every 4 years. This year it is its 10th edition, with a finish in Costa Rica and St. Barths. Similar to the Rum Route, this regatta is called the Coffee Route. The start, originally set for October 30, was postponed for 2 days due to too strong ocean winds.
