David Frith, the bandleader of the Bermuda Pipes Band, walks around the pier playing a traditional tune on his bagpipes. This is the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club's routine at sunset. In addition to bagpipe playing, the Hamilton Yacht Club is known for the Marion Bermuda Race, commemorating the summer solstice day on June 22.
