London Airport's runway has been closed while the three-deck Sunseeker 131 is being transported to a berth at the nearby Excel Centre.

The Sunseeker 131 was brought to London to take part in the Boat Show, which takes place in the UK capital from 8 to 17 January. The yacht received her world premiere at the Boat Show.

The 40m Sunseeker is the largest yacht in the history of the London Boat Show.

The Sunseeker 131 is designed on the basis of the well proven Sunseeker 40m and features a wide range of interior customization options that include a selection of furniture, textiles and layouts. The yacht will accommodate up to 12 guests on a cruise.

Five Sunseeker 131 hulls have been sold to date.

During the three days of the London Boat Show, Sunseeker managed to secure orders totalling £14 million. The shipyard previously announced that it would expand its workforce by 225 people in 2016. The news comes on the back of layoffs at other British shipbuilders, Fairline and Princess Yachts.
