93m Feadship Lady S put to sea for first sea trials

In the early morning of 1st April the beautiful Dutch superyacht Lady S, also known as Project 814, set sail for the North Sea from the docks in the Amsterdam yard. Lady S, born in the South Holland village of Caag, was moved to the capital city a few weeks ago for finishing touches and it has proved to be a very complex undertaking to get the boat to her final destination.

As a Feadship in-house reporter tells us in this latest video blog post, the team had to draw on their years of experience. Amsterdam's canals, branching off the Amstel River, are very narrow in their own right, and the drawbridges are even narrower. Not surprisingly, at 14 metres width, the superyacht could barely squeeze between the sections of one of them with just a few centimetres to spare.
